Lord, I am thankful that You are forever in my midst, that I no longer have to fear evil for You are with me, Your rod and staff comforting me. Though the enemy may try to confront me with situations and circumstances to cause my faith to waiver, I place my trust in You, knowing that You are right here, fighting my battles and giving me the strength to press on. I pray that You would cleanse me this morning from the sins of yesterday, purging from me all that is not pleasing to You and does not accomplish Your will. It is my prayer that You would prop me up by the power of the Holy Spirit that I might take steps towards glorifying You not just in word but also in deeds. Cleanse my heart and renew my spirit that I might serve You in spirit and in truth, to Your glory. Thank You my King for loving me, saving me, and drawing me nearer.
