Psalm 119:165
LORD, this week as I reflect upon Your peace I rejoice because my soul truly finds it in Your Word. In it and by it I not only understand Who You are, but also Your will for my life. It removes the uncertainty regarding my decision making. It paves the path before me that I might live a life that is pleasing to You. But most importantly, in it I discovered Who Jesus Christ is, what He has has done for me, and how, by His sacrifice, Your wrath has been removed, Your righteous requirements satisfied, and my peace with You secured. Because of His love I cannot fall from Your grace, and this is foundational to my peace! Oh, how marvelous is this salvation that is mine through Christ Jesus my Lord! Today, grant me the sensitivity of spirit to hear and follow after the leanings and unctions of Your Holy Spirit Who dwells within me. Grant me discernment to see things and circumstances as You see them. Give me Spirit driven resolve to walk by faith even as Christ walked by faith while He was amongst. Let Your peace prevail in every aspect of my life, reminding me joyously of Whom I have placed my trust in. Thank You for Your unspeakable gift! Amen!
