Today, Father God, I call out Your Name, rushing into Your presence, knowing with certainty that You not only see me but also hear me. When I call upon Your Name You do not turn a deaf ear to me, but provide me with Your undivided attention, as if the world and its ramblings could distract You! My soul’s peace is of concern to You, my walk of faith in Christ Your passion. You not only see me but also know me, the deepest recesses and longings of my heart, understanding the struggles I am engaged with, both external and internal. And this is of concern to You! It blows my mind to think that when I call on You, You have promised to answer me! Oh, the joy of being Yours! On this truth I lay my life, certain that I am never out of Your care. This day, send forth Your deliverance. Let Your child see the awesome spectacle of You working out Your will not only in my life, but in the lives of those around me. By Your Spirit help me to connect the dots between what seems to be isolated events and happenings, revealing that they are indeed the working out of Your great will and salvation in the lives of Your children. Father, You are not only my hope, but You are the hope of this world. Send Your redemption and healing. Let Your peace prevail where there is strife. Let Your love overflow where there is dissension. Let Your Spirit reign where there is confusion. Then it will truly be well with my soul. Continue to open my eyes, LORD, that I might witness Your awesome deeds and wonderful act. I pray this in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
