Moses and Aaron brought together all the elders of the Israelites, and Aaron told them everything the LORD had said to Moses. He also performed the signs before the people, and they believed. And when they heard that the LORD was concerned about them and had seen their misery, they bowed down and worshiped.

Exodus 4:29-31 (NIV)

Father God, there is something calming and soul-satisfying about knowing that You not only see what I am going through but also care deeply about me. You care so much that You surround me with individuals who not only love You but love me also, who act as Your spokespeople in my life, reminding me of Your unfailing love and showing me what You are doing and are about to do in my life. Through them I see You, perceive Your fingerprints, and am encouraged. They demonstrate Your love for me in a tangible way, removing the doubts and fears, building me up that I might be able to stand. They are truly gifts from You!

So, this morning I pause to thank You for them, and to worship You for You unfailing love. Thank You for not leaving me to my own devices but instead giving me everything I need right now to live a life pleasing to You, trusting by faith that You are going to do what You said You are going to do. I praise You for the already/not yet reality of my salvation, which reminds me that my redemption is a work in progress, that You have already sealed me by Christ’s blood, and that one day I will be made completely whole. That’s not just a promise. That’s a fact! And for this I praise You! The issues I am wrestling with right now are but temporary. And I am holding on to more than just a promise. I know it’s going to happen for me.

Thank You for reminding me of this reality at every turn – through the lives and voices of those whom You send across my path; through the unfolding of “beyond-coincidental” circumstances in my life that testify to divine orchestration; through favor from unlikely places – You continue to show me that You see me and that You are concerned about me. I lift my hands and my heart up to You in praise!

So today, stay ever before me. Please continue to prod my heart and fuel my faith with an overwhelming sense of Your presence. Open my eyes to the mini-miracles You are manifesting in my midst, and continue to remind You child of Your endless love. Father, I love You so much! Thank You for loving me more! Amen!
