Sovereign God, my soul hungers for Your presence, longing with all that is within me to bask in Your glory! Though I am weak and weary, though the world continues to batter me with its ills, I know where I can find peace, where my spirit can be refreshed: it is at the foot of Your throne, in the shadow of the Almighty!
I rush into Your presence this day, finding in You all that I have longed for. Though this world try to entice me into finding satisfaction in its offerings, I choose You again and again for in You do I place all of my hope, in You alone is my cup truly filled!
Fill me, LORD, with a fresh anointing from on high. Draw Your servant nearer. Speak calming words of joy to my spirit, and shine the light of Your glory upon me! Satisfy my hunger with Your Word and cleanse me from all that would separate me from You. Immerse me in the blood of my Savior and set me apart for Your will. Today, I find all that my soul longs for, yearns for, in Your presence. Thank You, my King for making it happen through the finished work of my Savior, in Whose Name I pray. Amen!
