And Moses called Bezalel and Oholiab and every craftsman in whose mind the LORD had put skill, everyone whose heart stirred him up to come to do the work.
Exodus 36:2
Father, I am amazed at the giftedness that You have bestowed upon all of creation, how You have uniquely and wonderfully instilled in each of us some talent that only we can do. The fact that there is similarity in the giftedness of one person versus another is never in question. But what is awesome is that in that sameness we are all so different in our expression of it. Some excel in music, while others art. Some in learning, while others in building. Whether it is in collaboration with others or in our quiet solitude, You have placed a jewel of endowment within each of us and called us to use it to bless others in Your Name.
Thank You for fearfully and wonderfully making us, making me, today. As there are things that only I can do, I commit today to looking for opportunities to apply my own personal gifts to advance Your Kingdom purposes in my life and the lives of others. I pray that You would give me discernment in the moment to know when to act, the courage to step out in faith, and the confidence in knowing that the little that I believe that I can contribute can, by the power of Your Spirit, result in a lot, being multiplied by You to Your glory.
I am Yours to use as an expression of Who You are in this world. I believe You have created me for this moment, infusing in me everything necessary to bring You the praise. You are the Potter. I am the clay. Use me, Father, in Jesus’ Name.
