Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.

Father God, You will bring many people into my path over the course of this day. And I will speak with a good number of them. Some will seek me out for various reasons. Others will just stumble upon me by what they will believe to be by chance. Whatever the circumstances, my prayer today is that You would help me to demonstrate Your love in a tangible way. I recognize that the love of Christ through me might be the only glimmer that they get this day of Who You are. It is my prayer that through my feeble acts of Christlikeness that they might know that what is different about me is my heartfelt commitment to Jesus Christ and the advancement of the Kingdom of God here on earth. I pray that something said or done by me might point them to You. I am an ambassador of Christ, sent here by the Holy Spirit to declare to all who will hear the life changing message of His sacrifice and the grace, both past and future, that You are offering to all who will trust in Him. It is my heartfelt desire to be that vehicle, showing them that You abide in me, and together, Your love is perfected in the saints who call upon His Name. Use me, LORD, that I might be Your fingerprints in the life of those around me in Jesus’ Name.
