And Asa cried to the LORD his God, “O LORD, there is none like you to help, between the mighty and the weak. Help us, O LORD our God, for we rely on you, and in your name we have come against this multitude. O LORD, you are our God; let not man prevail against you.”

LORD, as I navigate through this day I realize that You are God all by Yourself and You are my sole help. Though I may look to my own skills and abilities, I realize so clearly that success only comes at Your hands. Many trials and tribulations may very well await me this day. Frankly, I have no idea what looms around the corner. But this I know for certain: You know and are able to contend with whatever comes my way. Whether great or small, I am certain that I can do all things through You. And because I am Yours, my heart finds peace in knowing that whoever or whatever confronts me this day is actually confronting You. Thank You for calling me Your own and loving me so unconditionally. I praise You in advance for the victories that are mine in Christ Jesus. Amen.
