Father God, on this day my soul rejoices and finds its peace in You! To think: You called me to be Your child before I even got here! You not only knew me and set me apart (Jeremiah 1:5), You know everything about me, having Yourself “knitted” me together (Psalm 139:13-16)! You have given me a name known only to You (Revelations 2:17), and in giving me to my Lord Jesus, have promised that nothing will ever pluck me out of His wonderful hands (John 6:37-39)! What a tremendous joy that is mine!
As I walk through this day, my mind focused on how good You have been, are right now, and how You will continue to blow my mind in the future, I will do so, celebrating Your goodness and love for me and all who call upon the Name of Your Son. Because of how much You have loved me, I want to not only please You and make You happy, but I want to let everyone know, by word and deeds, how awesome my God is!
Thank You, Father, for defining in my life what love truly looks like. Though I may not always show it or even feel it, I know that I am special to You. Help me to overcome my head/heart problem. Help me to live out my love and faith to You all day everyday. Help me to look more like my Savior, Whose love for me is as matchless as Yours! Amen!
