You will say in that day: “I will give thanks to you, O LORD, for though you were angry with me, your anger turned away, that you might comfort me. “Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the LORD GOD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.”
Isaiah 12:1-2
LORD God You are my strength and my song, You are my great salvation! There is none like You and no plan as marvelous as the redemptive plan You have unfolded for those You call Your own! My soul rejoices this morning because You have, in Your unfathomable grace and mercy, chosen me to be a recipient of Your unmerited favor. Who am I that You should love me like You do? What have I done to deserve Your loving kindness? Indeed, I do not! I am unworthy! Yet, You have caused Your face to shine upon me. You have washed away all of my iniquities. Though You were angry with me due to my sinfulness, You have given me eternal pardon through the shed blood of Jesus, ushering me not just into Your service, but into Your family! I am now a child of Yours! I would have been satisfied eating scraps from Your table. Yet, You have given me a seat! I would have been content just serving in the shadows. Yet, You have beckoned me to come to Your throne! Oh, today my soul magnifies You and worships You! Thank You for this great and wonderful salvation that is mine by faith in Jesus Christ! Today I purpose to live my life in a manner that reflects the transformation that has taken place and is taking place in me through the Holy Spirit. Have Your way and use me to bring glory to Your Name! I praise You and worship today and everyday! Amen!
