Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens.

Psalm 68:19 (NIV)

I praise You, Lord Jesus, for You are good! My soul magnifies Your Name and I praise You for all You have done. There is none like You. When I think of Your goodness and all that You have done for me, I cannot help but do my soul’s “happy dance!” You have been so good to me!

Master, though I came into this day carrying the burdens of the night before, this morning when I read this verse I was reminded that You the God with “big shoulders!” I can hear You say to me, “Cast your cares upon me for I care for you.” And the glorious thing about it is that this is not a once-per-week invitation but instead a daily beckoning! It is not a one and done act but is a continual laying of my cares at Your footstool. In this, Lord, I find not only relief from the heavy load but also peace, knowing that You take care of me.

So today I bring You all that I have carried. I bring to You family concerns, health concerns, financial concerns, work concerns, peace concerns, national concerns, church concerns, friend concerns – everything. Lord, I give it all over to You. Provide for Your child the peace and relief that comes from being in Your presence knowing that You will take care of me. Though I know that I will still be confronted by troubles, I also know that You will be with me through it all, holding me up along the way, carrying my heavy load. To You be the glory!

Thank You for Your unfailing love and Your never ending care for me. Thank You for reminding me today who I am in You and what You have promised for me. Thank You for being my all-in-all. I love You, Jesus! I so love You!
