Lord Jesus, this morning my soul just asks that You would shine Your light on me. Let the glow of Your presence within my heart radiate out I might follow in Your footsteps and that others may see You in me. Lord, You are my lamp; You turn my darkness into light; You transform my nights to day, and make clear the path before me. You are my light and my salvation, my strong tower and my never ending source of joy. In You and by You I have all I need. You are my very great reward!
My soul finds its rest and peace in You. In the darkest of hours, when I feel in my head the most alone, You remind me in my heart that I am never alone, that You will never leave me nor forsake me; that in You and by You I live, move and have my being. You are the source of my life!
It is my prayer today that you would continue to remind me of this very great truth. As I navigate through this dark world, shine the glorious light of Your presence upon me and those who come into my company. Continue to allow me to bask in Your presence and soak in the radiance of Your glory. Continue to transform me from the inside out, transferring to me the beauty of Your holiness, that I too might let my light shine that all might see You and worship You in all of Your glory! I praise You and magnify Your Name for You are the Light of the World! Be glorified, my Savior! Amen!
