May my meditation be pleasing to him, as I rejoice in the LORD.

Psalm 104:34 (NIV)

Lord, my heart’s deepest desire is to please You in all that I do. Even as the song exclaims, “I wanna make You smile,” Lord I want to see signs of Your delight in me. Like that puppy at the feet of its master, tail wiggling back and forth, eyes fixed on his master’s every move, my soul lays at the foot of Your throne, my eyes fixed on You, awaiting Your every move, eager to respond to Your every command. All I long for is one gentle, loving smile from You, a sign that You are pleased with me. This Lord makes my day!

I worship You, my King, and sing praises to Your Name. Even now my heart exalts You, my soul magnifies You, my spirit glorifies You! When I reflect upon all that You done, both before and even now, I cannot help but praise You for Your works, glorify You for Your manifestations of Your love! Words cannot express the joy You bring. Regardless of my circumstances, whether I feel that life is treating me good or bad, I find peace and a place of refuge in Your midst. Even now, my spirit can hear You declare it is well! Hallelujah!

Lord, as I meditate on Your Word cause it to take root in my heart bringing forth fruit unto eternal life, that I and others might feast on it. Open my eyes to Your glory that my praise might bubble over, flowing into the lives of those around me. And send Your precious Holy Spirit to fill me fresh and anew, restoring my soul, and keeping ever before me the truth of Your love. Thank You for making me Your own! In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen!
