The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your fellow Israelites. You must listen to him.

Father God, I thank You today for Christ Jesus, the Prophet like Moses, Whom You raised up to provide me with everything that I need for life and godliness. I thank You for the sacrifice He made on my behalf, paying the price I could not pay, doing what I could not do, redeeming me with His precious blood. Through His acts of obedience He has secured for me a place in Your family. I am no longer cast out but have been brought near. Glory to Your Name!
Today as I navigate through the challenges that will come before me, help me to remember the words spoken by my Savior and to apply them to my circumstances. My tendency is to lean on my own broken wisdom. It is only as I follow Christ that I find the fulfillment in life that my soul longs for. And that is what I seek today. My heart’s greatest desire is to just fellowship with my God. Only through Jesus is that possible. Open my eyes and ears to see and hear His leadings. Through the Holy Spirit draw me closer to You. Fill me with Your sweet presence, and remind me that You are always near. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
