Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for the sake of your goodness, O LORD!
Psalm 25: 7
LORD, I bless and praise You this morning for Your goodness and mercy indeed endures to all generations! You have blessed those who have gone before me, and You are blessing those who are in my midst. You have shown Your servant throughout this week Your fingerprints, touching the lives of those around me and causing what appeared to be dire circumstances to work out for good. As You look upon me this day, it is my prayer that You would forgive me for my sins and the ways in which I have not kept Your Word, both in days past and even in this moment. It is my prayer that You would not look at what I do but instead see who I am in Christ. I hide in His shadow this day. And for the sake of Your goodness and according to Your proclaimed steadfast love I pray that You would see me in Him. Remember me, LORD, as I wrestle with the decisions that come my way. Remember me as I engage with those who know You and do not. Remember me as I trip on the path You have laid before me. Remember me, that I am indeed shaped in iniquity, born into sin, yet set free in Christ Jesus. I can’t get it right without You! In the grand scheme of things I am still very new at walking with You, though I have known You many years. Today, I make no excuses. I just plead for Your grace and tender mercies, and that You continue to remember me in Jesus’ Name.
