As for the saints in the land, they are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight.
Psalm 16:3
Father God, I want to thank You this morning for all of the saints You have placed in my path. I confess they are a perpetual stream of delight to me, reminding me of Your love for me – whether through a hug, a word of encouragement or just a wave and a smile. Through them You continue to remind me that You have not forgotten me and left me to my own devices. Instead, they continually remind me that You are at work drawing me closer to You and working on making me the best me that I can be. You use them to soften my demeanor and to lighten my load. Through them I can see You laughing at my silly mistakes and teasing me regarding things I am taking too seriously. They truly are Your presence in my life! I thank You for using their embrace to allow me to experience You in the physical right now! Thank You for their words that speak to my soul, reverberating Your thoughts into my spirit. Thank You for their care and compassion that replicates Your care and concern for what troubles me. Lord, there is something about their fellowship that is not just me connecting with them but also connecting with You! Indeed, where two or three are gathered You are there! Thank You for bringing them into my life and using them to demonstrate Your love to me in a tangible way. Use me in the same fashion for someone else that You might be glorified by our fellowship. Amen!
