I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.
Ephesians 1:16-17 (NLT)
Lord, I thank You for all of the people You have placed in my life. I can say for certain that I am better because of what they have poured into me, whether intentionally or by happenstance. Through them I can see Your fingerprints in my circumstances, showing me that You have not left me but are with me, guiding me, loving me, and caring for me. Whether it is a smile, a loving embrace, or just a casual hello, their attention is a reminder of Your intimate love and care for me. Through them Your are telling me that You see me, know me, and know what I need in the moment. And for this, I say thank You.
I ask that You would continue to fill them with Your Spirit, causing their hearts to overflow with joy. Meet the needs that they have, bridging the gap between their lack and abundance, being the true Difference Maker in their lives. Grant them wisdom and discernment so that they can make the right decisions in the moment being their best authentic selves. Comfort them in the midst of their loss and fill them with hope pertaining to the promises that they have in You. But most importantly, cause them to grow in their knowledge of You, seeing You in all the happenings around them, that they might know for certain that You are there supplying all of their needs. It is my desire that they experience the love of Christ in a tangible way, knowing who they are in Him, confident that they are Yours.
Father, help me to be to them what they have been to me. Show me how I can be a greater blessing to them, a source of encouragement and love. Help me to put them first, pouring my life into them even as they have poured theirs into me. And continue to strengthen our love one for another that Christ might be seen in us before all the world. Amen.
