To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.
Proverbs 21:3
Father God, show Your servant today where I can advance Your just causes as I navigate through my engagements with others, not driven by my emotions but instead guided by Your Word and Your Spirit. Help me to respond rightly to situations and circumstances that come my way, demonstrating Your righteousness such that my good might not be evil spoken of. Help me not to get caught up in the movements of the moment, tugged to and fro by the social and political climate I find myself in. Instead, help me to keep my spirit in tune with Your Spirit, conscious of Your actions behind the scene, advancing what You declare is a priority of the moment. It is my aim to be a catalyst for Holy Spirit inspired change in all of the spheres of influence that I walk in. This can only happen by Your power. Work in me and through me to be that person this day and everyday for it is my desire to please You in all things – in thought, word and deed – such that all who see me might acknowledge that I am Your child guided by Your Spirit. It is my prayer that those whose lives I touch might align their lives with Your perfect will for them, experiencing the freedom and joy that comes from the advancement of Your righteousness and justice in their lives. It is my prayer that Your kingdom would come and Your will is done on Earth, even as it is in Heaven. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
