I say this in order that no one may delude you with plausible arguments. For though I am absent in body, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the firmness of your faith in Christ.
Colossians 2:4-5
Father God, today I celebrate the successes that You have made manifest in the lives of those whom You have brought into my life. I thank You that in them You have demonstrated Your presence by showing me Your fingerprints on their hearts and reminding me and them that You are our Source for all things in this life. Though we are apart from one another, continue to remind me that we are indeed present with each other in spirit through You, and help me to hold fast to the faith that has brought us thus far and that will keep us until the day of our Savior’s return. Grant me discernment regarding the arguments and positions that folks take in their attempt to persuade me that what I hold fast to is faulty and flawed. Help me to see the holes in their arguments reinforcing in my heart of hearts the faith we hold true. With others of likeminded faith, let me continue to strengthen the bond between us that we, as the body of Christ, might reflect His glory in all we say and do. I pray this in His Name and for His sake. Amen!
