For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do.
Romans 8:3 (ESV)
Father God, there is a saying that resonates in my soul this morning – He didn’t have to do it but He did. In a world where there appears to be so much chaos and turmoil, where individuals are concerned about what comes next, my soul is at peace this morning, knowing that You are a God Who can do the impossible.
You demonstrated this first by creating all things out of nothing. And then You manifested Your glory and power by defeating sin and death through the sacrifice and resurrection of Your Son. Through Him and by Him You have enabled those of us who call upon His Name heirs and coheirs with Him, overcoming the power of the flesh by faith.
I worship You this morning, praising Your Name and thanking You for all that You have done for me. What I could not do, You have time and time again done for me, revealing to me that You are the God Who makes the impossible possible. Where I fall short, You make up the difference.
Thank You for loving me, the “unlovable”, cleaning me up, the “sin-sullied”, and enabling me to do Your will, the “can’t get right”. Thank You for changing my life, giving me the greatest gift of all times, and instilling within me an eternal hope of glory that fills my heart with this unspeakable joy. Thank You! Amen!
