Lord, as I walk on this joy journey this week, it is my prayer that the good parts of my life might rub off on somebody else, encouraging them to surrender their lives to You and to walk closer with You. I cannot think of anything that gives me more joy short of the thought of seeing You face to face! That something I should say or do could have a lasting, eternal effect on someone’s life makes me jump on the inside. To see the contribution that I have made in someone’s life has compelled them to place their trust in You or to more earnestly seek Your will for their life through a closer walk with You is life changing for me! To be used by You to expand Your Kingdom, and to be used by You to leave Your finger prints on lives is my heart’s desire. Spreading Your love to others and enabling them to walk in the truth of Your Word brings me, and all who love You, great joy.
All I can say today is use me Lord! Use me to show the brokenhearted that in You they can find comfort. Use me to show the wander that in You they can find direction. Use me to show the lost that in You they can be found. You, Lord Jesus, are the answer to all of life’s problems. In You there is joy unspeakable. That I might experience that joy through reaching out and pulling someone up who is down, that is my desire today. Open my eyes to the opportunities to be used by You. Complete my joy this day to Your glory. Amen.
