Lord Jesus, I am continually amazed by the fact that when You are with me the storms around me cease and the waves beating against me subside. Why do I continue to try to tackle them alone? Why can’t I remember the successes of my past with You and apply those learnings in my current circumstances? Oh, that my soul would trust in You more! LORD, continue to bring to my remembrance Your nearness to me today and every day. Encourage me to continue to hide within the safety of Your shadow. I decrease that You might increase within me. I yield to Your Spirit that You might have You way within me. I trust You, Master. I am Yours. Where You lead I will follow praising You and worshipping You along the way that You might be glorified. Amen.
