For nothing will be impossible with God.

Luke 1:37 (ESV)

Father God, there is a saying that many of us have quoted time and time again: “God said it and that settles it.” What You declare, You bring to pass. What You promise, You make happen. You demonstrated this truth in the miraculous pregnancy of Elizabeth and the immaculate conception of Mary. We see it throughout the Scriptures, from Noah and the great flood, to Abraham and Sarah’s son Isaac. What we believe can’t be done, You make it happen. Nothing is impossible for You!

You admonish me to cast my cares on You because You care for me (1 Peter 5:7). Sometimes the issues are so big or so complex that my mind tries to tell me there is no way that You can fix it. Yet, my spirit continues to remind me of my Savior’s words, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” (Luke 18:27) Indeed, You can do all things but fail! And while You are doing the glorious things that You do, You make sure that I have what I need to make it through to see and experience the results – Your Spirit to comfort me, my Savior to guide me, and Your endless love to redeem me! What do I have to worry about? (Isaiah 41:10)

So today, I want to thank You for Your unfailing faithfulness and overwhelming love. Thank You for what has yet to be manifested in my life regarding Your precious promises, and the blessed hope that You have placed in my heart that it will indeed be a “yes” and “amen” in Him. (2 Corinthians 1:20) Thank You for continuing to see me through the hardships and difficulties of life. And as I hold fast to the hand of my Savior, I want to thank You that in Him I know not only who I am but Whose I am. Thank You for making me Yours! Amen.
