The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes.

Open the eyes of my heart, LORD God, that I might see You see You and Your hands at work around me. By Your Word help me to find my way through the challenges that I shall face today, seeing the world as You see it, walking by the faith that grows through trust in You.
Your Word has been a lamp to my feet and a light to my path (Psalm 119:105) showing me the way to Your goodness and filling my heart with joy (Psalm 16:11). It has made me glad, making available to me all that I most treasure in this world. In it and by it I have faith (Romans 10:17), comfort (Psalm 119:50), and peace (Psalm 119:165). Through it I learn of Your great and wonderful love for me. And in its pages I gain understanding. LORD God, Your Word is the source of my joy (Psalm 119:111)!
I want to thank You this morning for Your Word, LORD God. I thank You for its wonderful revelation of You, how it reveals Who You are in all of Your glory, making glad my heart and filling me with hope! Thank You for not leaving me to my own devices to figure this world out, but instead, through Your Word, showing me the way, filling my heart and shaping my understanding, and leading me in the paths of righteousness. Through Your Word You are creating in me a clean heart day by day. Your Word has revealed You to me, the God Who I love and worship, shining Your glorious light on me. All this by Your Word!
Thank You, LORD, for giving light to my eyes, radiantly shining down on me through Your Word. I praise You today and give thanks to You in the Name of Jesus, the Living Word, through the power of the Holy Spirit, Whom You’ve given me, all to Your glory. Amen!
