Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands! Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the LORD, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.
Psalm 100 (NKJV)
Lord Jesus, this has been some week! A lot has come my way and I have been confronted with many challenges. As I close out this workweek I desire to do so in a matter that looks forward not back. And Psalm 100 came to my mind. As I read it, it so reminds me of what is truly important in life – praising You, serving You, and entering into Your presence at all times. You are God all by Yourself! You are worthy to be praised now and forever!
As I close out this week, I just want to praise You and worship You. There is a lot running through my mind that I could, and in some instances should, be asking You for. But instead I just want to pause and bask in Your glory, experience the peace of Your presence, and worship You for Who You are and what You have already done.
Thank You for walking with me. Thank You for watching over me. Thank You for providing for me. Thank You for guiding me. Thank You for holding me up. Thank You for giving me strength. Thank You for loving me. Thank You for dying for me. Thank You for saving me. Thank You!
Lord, I want to thank You for being all that I have needed and will ever need. Your love for me is evident. Your care for me is constant. You are and have been my Rock. You are mine and I am Yours! Glory to Your Name! I want just to say, “Thank You!” Amen!
