You were also circumcised in him with a circumcision not done with hands, by putting off the body of flesh, in the circumcision of Christ, when you were buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead. And when you were dead in trespasses and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, he made you alive with him and forgave us all our trespasses.

Lord Jesus, my soul magnifies You this day for the great sacrifice You have made on my behalf and the glorious work You have wrought in me! While I was still lost in my sins, distant from You and unknowingly walking in doing what was right in my own eyes, You sent Your messengers to share with me the great news of the gospel, revealing to me that the Father was no longer holding the sins against those who have been washed in Your blood. By Your Spirit You circumcised my heart, removing from it my sin nature, and set me on a path of righteousness empowered by Him. By faith I am now raised to life in You, dead to sin and alive to You! I have been forgiven completely and totally. And in the end, I shall be received unto You to live eternally in Your presence. What joy this fact gives me!
As I start this workweek off, I pray for Your grace to reign supreme in my life. I pray, Lord, that You would continue to wash me in Your blood. Forgive me for the sins I have committed and purge me of all notions that are contrary to Your will. Continue to remind me that it is not by works of righteousness which I have done but by Your grace that I have been saved through faith.
Show me Your way today and enable me to live this day better than I did yesterday, all to Your glory. Open my eyes to what You are doing in my midst. Help me to align my will with Your will, that I might walk in a manner that is pleasing in Your sight, advancing Your Kingdom, and sharing Your love in a tangible way to this dying world.
I thank You for this great salvation that is mine through You. Thank You for the newness of life that is mine. Thank You loving me with Your eternal love. You are my God. I worship You! Amen!
