Lord Jesus I lay my life before You and declare I’m all in! Though there are a great many things that will attempt to lure me into its grip and vie for my attention and affections this day, I declare to You and this world in the words of Hegelian Walker, “I am souled out! My mind is made up!” Indeed, “My heart is fixed, my mind’s made up. No room, no vacancies, I’m all filled up. Your Spirit lives in me and that’s the reason I’m souled out!” As I engage in all that I shall embark on today I do so with the express purpose of bringing glory to Your Name. I am who I am and can do what I do only because You are Who You are and have done what You’ve done! Glory to Your Name! I praise You, worship You, magnify You!
I dedicate to You all that I set out to do today. It is my aim that the good I do might bring You glory. My heart’s desire is that folks might see my good works and recognize that it is not me but You working in me. Therefore, I will grasp every opportunity that I get today to tell someone of the great things You are doing in my life. My prayer is that You would just order my steps and my words that I might be true to this desire. I want to please You.
So, today I thank You for all that You have done for me. I can only do what I do because You have empowered me to do so. All of the successes in my life are the result of Your tender mercies and mind-boggling kindness. You have been good to me! Therefore, I lay my life before You as a living sacrifice to use as You see fit. I dedicate to You all that I do this day. Thank You, Jesus. And thanks to the Father for sending You! Amen!
