I will cleanse them from all the sin they have committed against me and will forgive all their sins of rebellion against me.

Jeremiah 33:8 (NIV)

LORD God, what a glorious promise You have made! Not to Judah only, but to all who call upon the Name of the LORD my Righteous Savior, Jesus Christ! In Him and by Him You have cleansed me from all the sins I have committed – past, present and future! You have opened my eyes, changed my heart, and infused me with new life. I am no longer the same person. I am different. I am redeemed. I am set free. I am Yours! Glory to Your Name!

You have healed me and made me whole. And You have instilled within me a peace which is beyond understanding. You have removed from me the fear of death, replacing it with a joy that is unspeakable, for I now know that whether I live or die I am Yours (Romans 14:8)! Because of this I long to see my Savior, worship at His feet, and give Him eternal praise! My soul aches to come before Your throne where He sits at Your right hand, and glorify You my God! My soul pants with excitement on seeing, knowing, and comprehending You in all of Your glory – my Triune God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

My mind cannot fully comprehend what that will be like. I cannot fully grasp the divine complexity of Who You are in all of Your glory. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me! I don’t even comprehend how I should be praying regarding seeing You! Yet, my soul cries out, “Even so, come Lord Jesus!” LORD, though I have only a glimmer that tidbit of ecstasy fuels my inner being, energizing me to press on that I might see You for myself, dwell in Your presence and bask in Your glory for eternity!

So I come before You today and I worship You, Father God! I worship You, Lord Jesus! I worship You, Precious Holy Spirit! Thank You for laying Your divine hands upon me. Thank You for cleansing me from the inside out. Thank You for transforming my rebellion into righteousness, my sinfulness into sanctification, and my wickedness into worship! To You be the glory forever and ever! Amen!
