But when the son of Paul’s sister heard of this plot, he went into the barracks and told Paul.

Father God I am amazed at how You cause all things to work together for my good, coordinating every detail behind the scenes to Your glory! It is not lost on me that Paul had a band of individuals who had taken a vow not to eat until they killed him. Yet, You raised up an informant, Paul’s nephew, to thwart their plan. What, LORD, are the odds that he would be the one to hear the plan? That was You 100%!
I glory in You today, knowing that You not only thwart the plans of the enemy in my life but also make ways for my advocates. You not only block the paths of those trying to bring me down and do me harm, but also make a way for those who are trying to bless me and hold me up. You have placed around me guards to protect me on every side. Through others You have given me divine insight regarding what You are doing. And You have given me my final destination – to stand before the King!
Thank You for surrounding me with folks who love me enough to inform me of the impending dangers ahead, who have the courage to press through and let me know, especially when I’m too hardheaded to listen. Thank You for sending “the troops” who walk with me, protecting and shielding me from all of the dangers from without, and especially those from within, because I sometimes can be my worst enemy. Thank You for loving me so much that You send individuals who love me also, my spiritual family members, who have my back reminding me that I am not in this thing alone.
And most of all, thank You for sending me Your Son, my Savior, Who loves me and died for me and will never leave me. And for sending Your Holy Spirit Who lives in me and empowers me and fills me with hope. I can and will because You have. Thank You. Amen.
